Profile

My Masters project is on the Boulevard Property owned by Silver Quest Resources in the White Gold District of the north Dawson Range adjacent to Kaminak's Coffee Property. The geology of the Boulevard claims is dominated by Mississippian-Devonian quartz-biotite schist’s of the Nasina sub-terrane which are trending northwest and dipping to the south-west. The Boulevard property is bound to the north-east by the Coffee Creek batholith  and to the south-west the Dawson Range batholith.

My research is focusing on assessing the timing and nature of mineralization on the Boulevard property in relation to neighbouring magmatic activity. Characterizing the hydrothermal system such as timing of mineralization and source of fluids in relation to nearby magmatism at Boulevard will allow for an exploration model to be developed for future exploration. Also assessing different veining styles in relation to magmatism may be applicable to Kaminak’s adjacent Coffee property.

I graduated from UBC in May 2009 and have spent the last five years working in the summer months for Equity Exploration Consultants, Hawthorne Gold Gorp and Riverside Resources. I am also currently registered with APEGBC as a G.I.T.
