My PhD project is researching the hydrothermal and metamorphic mineral assembalges that surround the Red Lake Gold Mines, North Western Ontario. The Archean Red Lake Gold Mines (40mt at 20g/t, Bouzari et al., 2009) is a lode-gold deposit hosted in Mesoarchean komatiite basalt and submarine tholeiitie (Sanborn-Barrie et al., 2001).
