Profile

My academic background is in oceanography and biogeochemistry. For the past three years I have been working with EOS as a science teaching and learning fellow for the Carl Wieman Science Education Initiative and have focused my research on teaching and learning. I am the regional director of the non-profit "Little Travellers HIV/AIDS initiative and have recently founded a new non-profit called Fashioning Change. Both non-profits set up income generation projects for HIV positive women in South Africa. I am very interested in international development in sub-saharan Africa, specifically setting up effective social enterprises and measuring the effectiveness and impacts of such projects
