The Fifth International AVW will be held on the campus of the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada during the 6th to 11th of July 2008. The International Organizing Committee has agreed to expand the theme of the AVW from Algal Viruses to Aquatic Viruses to facilitate a broader interaction among researchers interested in viruses in aquatic systems. The workshop will include invited Keynote Lectures, as well as oral and poster contributions.
UBC has a variety of affordable accommodations for individuals and groups; however, these tend to fill up quickly, so book early.
