The Fifth International AVW will be held on the campus of the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada during the 6^th to 11^th of July 2008. The International Organizing Committee has agreed to expand the theme of the AVW from Algal Viruses to Aquatic Viruses to facilitate a broader interaction among researchers interested in viruses in aquatic systems. The workshop will include invited Keynote Lectures, as well as oral and poster contributions.
UBC has a variety of affordable accommodations for individuals and groups; however, these tend to fill up quickly, so book early.
