What is Co-operative Education?

Co-op programs can be described as follows:

"The University and employers provide you with an opportunity to alternate practical work experience in your chosen field with academic studies for your professional [or science] degree program. As a Co-op graduate, you will be well prepared, academically and professionally, for your future career."

(From the UBC Applied Sciences webpage)
