UBC's Career Services

Their new enhanced CareersOnline job website includes a sub-section entitled "What can I do with my major?" The goal of this page is to help students make connections between the skills, knowledge and learning that they acquire through their studies at UBC and the many career options available to them upon graduation. Each page about a particular majors program includes:

  • links to departmental web pages
  • graduate survey information (where available)
  • skills which the program helps to develop
  • sample occupations
  • strategies for building experience while still a student
  • links to relevant associations and interesting web sites
  • UBC library links
