Employment history: Environmental Chemistry Group, Department of Chemistry, University of British Columbia (arsenic speciation in food and environmental samples, marine and freshwater biological samples; PCBs analysis and bioremediation studies (joint project with with UBC microbiology and ESG, Royal Military College); expertise in HPLC-ICP-MS, HG-AAS, GFAAS, GC-MS)
I am a team member of PCIGR. My duties include:
Keeping the daily operation and maintenance of ELEMENT2 (high resolution ICP-MS, Thermo Finnigan), Quadrupole ICP-MS (Agilent 7700) and AttoM (high resolution ICP-MS, Nu Instruments);
Preparing rock samples for trace element analysis and isotopic analysis;
Performing trace element analysis on rock samples;
Training students and researchers to perform analysis by using ICP-MS.
