Profile

I completed my undergraduate MSci at the Royal School of Mines, Imperial College, London in 2004. I started my MSc at UBC in 2009, focusing on far-field expressions of hydrothermal systems as part of the Carlin Footprints project with Dr Ken Hickey. In particular I am investigating how thermochronology can be used to map the thermal halo associated with Carlin-type Au deposits in northern Nevada.

Research Interests

-- Applied exploration techniques
-- Thermochronology of Carlin-type Au deposits - improving understanding of fluid flow, locating      fluid conduits, using thermal halos to potentially locate new deposits.
-- Mapping modern geothermal systems to compare heat and fluid flow.
